Yes, the alleged wedding of Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez is now confirmed. According to reports, the wedding ceremony of Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez took place in Baguio city last September 13, 2010 around 3 p.m.
The wedding of Mariel and Robin was officiated by a native Ibaloi priest who first thought that it was just a shooting scene.
“Tinanong ko si Robin kung kasal talaga ito. Sabi niya, ‘Oo, kasal talaga.’ Kaya sinimulan ko na,” the priest said.
During the wedding, the couple, Mariel and Robin was wearing the traditional clothes of the Ibaloi. They drank rice wine to symbolize their love for each other and the couple also danced Tayao, a native dance to show that they are officially married.
“Ang kasal na ito ay legal sa kultura ng mga Igorot….binasbasan ko sila na hanggang kamatayan magsasama sila,” the priest added.
According to reports, the couple got married again in a ceremony officiated by a pastor and was held in a private house.
